<Reason for receiving the award>

Guided by the principle of One HIS, One Team, One Culture, they are fostering an organization where every employee is united by a shared mission. At its foundation are three core values--Harmony, Integrity, and Success--which blend unique corporate values with the HIS Group's purpose, Kokoro Odoru. These values serve as the guiding light for our organizational synergy, leadership, and continued growth.

1. Succession Planning and Mentorship Program for future leaders
In order to build a leadership that will shape the future of the organization, the HR team introduced the systematic Succession Planning Framework focused on identifying and developing talents of high potential.

Within this framework, selected candidates will first work on developing a career development plan designed by the human resources department. Through this process, candidates objectively assess their current strengths and clearly define their aspirations for their future careers, thereby independently outlining the specific steps and resources necessary to achieve their goals.

Furthermore, to strongly support this individual growth within the organization, they have launched a new Mentorship Program.The defining feature of this program is the Dual-Mentor Model, which pairs each candidate with two dedicated mentors. While the direct supervisor provides practical, day-to-day guidance, the second mentor--a leader from another department--is selected to align with the candidate's long-term career aspirations.

By adopting this multi-layered support system, candidates will gain a more diverse perspective, further strengthening their leadership development. Additionally, this initiative aims not only for individual growth but also to foster cross-departmental collaboration, creating a crucial foundation for new synergies across the entire organization.

2. Introduction of 360-degree Feedback

360-degree feedback is a method of evaluating leadership effectiveness from multiple perspectives by collecting feedback from superiors, colleagues, and subordinates, while ensuring the anonymity of evaluators. It has fostered a culture of open communication and accountability. Employees and leaders can now gain valuable performance insights from colleagues, direct reports, and superiors, enabling them to develop more balanced, actionable development plans.

3. Providing opportunities for continuous learning

In addition to participation in the selective HR Leadership Lab and external specialty programs, they offered a variety of skill development opportunities, including Japanese and French language training and job-specific training.
