5 Themes and SDGs
Based on the Purpose "Unleash your feeling 'KOKORO ODORU': Being interested, excited, and having a desire", HIS Group aims to develop a wide range of businesses centered on travel, to enhance the corporate value of the entire group and contribute to the sustainable development of society.
We believe that by promoting these initiatives under five themes, we can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)* adopted by the United Nations in September 2015.
5 Themes

Themes 1: Expansion of the Travel Market
A "commitment to world peace" is included in the "HIS Group Code of Conduct".
As a market leader in our core business of travel, we believe that our new social role is to increase the number of people interacting with each other around the world, and to revitalize the travel market in order to promote mutual understanding beyond such things as nationality, race, culture, religion.

Themes 3: Contribution to the Local Community and Society
We set forth our commitment to "coexist in harmony with local communities and society" in the "HIS Group Code of Conduct".
HIS has 130 domestic outlets and Hotel Holdings Corporation operates hotels across Japan. Through our business, we provide opportunities for people to experience the attractions of various regions of Japan. We believe that these activities are made possible by the prosperity, understanding, and support of the community and society. We are committed to maintaining good communication with the community and wider society and contribute to both through the development of our company.

Themes 4: Increasing Employee Satisfaction
We have set forth our commitment to "ensuring a comfortable and safe work environment" in the "HIS Group Code of Conduct".
We always strive to create a clean, safe, and lively workplace, by respecting each other's personalities and individuality, maintaining a clear distinction between public and private matters, maintaining fair workplace order, and eliminating conduct that may cause discomfort to others. "Adventure and Challenge", "Speed and Agility", "Balance and Morals", and "Brightness and Liveness" are the HIS Group Values, and have been passed down since the company's founding. We will promote the creation of a fulfilling work environment, so that all HIS Group staff members can embody these principles in their work practices.

Themes 5: Practice of Diversity and Inclusion
We uphold a respect for "diversity, personality, and individuality" in "the HIS Group Code of Conduct".
Despite changes in the business environment, customer satisfaction remains at the core of the HIS Group's corporate values, and the daily efforts of our frontline employees contribute to that value. We are working on D&I to create an environment where each and every employee can work with a sense of value, pride and confidence in their work, and a daily feeling that they are extending the circle of smiles and happiness to our customers.
