5 CORE THEMES AND SDGs

We define five core values for corporate philosophy of the H.I.S. group “To work in accordance with the principle of Nature and contribute to the creative development of humanity and world peace.” Pursuing these initiatives also lets us contribute to the sustainable development goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in September 2015.

Expansion of the Travel Market

Key themes 1: Expansion of the Travel Market

Seeking to act as a global market leader in travel industry and increase mutual understanding that goes beyond nationality, race, culture, or religion, we want to foster more opportunities for people to engage with each other and in turn vitalize the travel market. We deem this as one of our key social roles.

Key themes 2: Practice of Diversity and Inclusion

Even as the business climate changes in major ways, the company core value comes down to customer satisfaction. That is why the day-to-day activities of each our staff remain unchanged in the way they create new and meaningful value. We consider it essential to create a workplace better in which each and every team member finds a value and work with pride and self-respect, creating a positive feedback loop between them and customers. To that end, we actively promote various D&I initiatives in order to be a company that is accepting of a wide range of values and diverse attitudes.

CSR approach

Our core CSR approach revolves around our duty to increase customer and employee satisfaction and contribute to the local community and society, so we are steadily pursuing initiatives across those three vectors. The H.I.S. group seeks to continue contributing for the happiness and success of all customers, personnel, clients, shareholders, and local communities with which we work.
